shrewsbury: faith page
British Wheel of Yoga teacher Faith Page first discovered yoga more than twenty years ago and has been teaching since 2010.
Faith completed her BWY diploma course with Ashtanga teacher Richard Adamo and since then also worked with tutors including David Sye, Zoe Knott, Paul Fox and Antonia Boyle .
Faith uses yoga as a transformational tool for the body and mind; empowering students by improving their strength, flexibility and balance. Her classes include postures (asanas) to build strength, improve flexibility and range of movement, and correct bad posture.
Breathing and concentration practices are also taught for self-awareness, focus and reducing stress levels.
Each class includes a warm up, some flowing sequences, focus on a certain posture, theme or part of the body, breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation. There's sometimes meditation, often music and always a bit of fun!
Faith also offers one-to-one tuition, tailor-made classes for sport clubs, schools, businesses and festivals as well as running workshops and this website!

YOGA YOUR WAY?
Faith offers one-to-one tuition, tailor-made classes for sport clubs, schools, businesses and festivals as well as running workshops (and this website!)
One recent growth area has been hen parties and other weekend gatherings at one of the many large homes available for rent in the county.
Faith's recently been working at Wollaston Lodge, which boasts its own yoga studio (doubling up for a silent disco at night!). If you're considering getting a group together, whether for a hen weekend or a yoga retreat, it's a lovely spot in the west Shropshire countryside - just look at the view out of the window below!
